Record Number of Journalists in Jail, Report Finds

According to the The Committee to Protect Journalists, a New York-based advocacy group, recorded the highest number of jailed journalists since they began keeping track in 1990. More than 179 people were imprisoned in connection with their work as reporters, editors and photographers in 2011.Iran held the largest number, according to the group, with 42 people in jail. when ! first read this I was like wow!! this is sad go to jail because you are doing your job that's just not right.
